    Anna Marina,

Our mother has been a JW for 50 years.... al she did was ASK QUESTIONS.... namely

    1) why do we need to get baptised and dedicate ourselves to an organisation in the baptism vow (this was not the case 50 years ago!) and

    2) how come disfellowshipping has become UNpagan, because the magazines in her time clearly told us that DISFELLOWSHIPPING IS PAGAN.

You cant make a scripture say one thing 50 years ago and then another 50 years later..... the BIble does NOT LIE!

Anyway 6 months ago, whilst mum was inactive due to looking after our grandma and later arranging her funderal , it was announced mum is no longer a JW and mum got to hear about it, via-via!!!!

    Not even condolences, but disfellowshipping!

    Hi Nathan

The elders asked me if I thought this was Jehovah's Organisation. My response was, "the body of Christ is Jehovah's organisation. A body is made up of organs, if you are the foot and I am the hand, why are you attacking me?"

Then I told them I was trying to raise the alarm on false doctrine so they said they had to keep the congregation clean from people like me. I said, "but if your house was burning down and I warned you, wouldn't you be grateful to me?"

I was then asked, "do you think you are the faithful and discrete slave?"

I replied, "what for warning you your house is burning down?"

When I informed them that the prophet Daniel was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, that floored them. I was told, "well there is a clear divide here."

    Anna Marina,

    Good point!

When I informed them that the prophet Daniel was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, that floored them. I was told, "well there is a clear divide here.

Blondie: I guess they forgot that Isaiah 43:10is where God identifies the Israelites as his witnesses, which Daniel was being an Israelite. They also forgot that the WTS uses that scripture to prove that their members are jws.

You are my witnesses,”+ declares Jehovah,

“Yes, my servant whom I have chosen,+

Hi Blondie - yes exactly - one of the 5 elders they set on me, asked me if I still identified as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I replied I stood firm with the words of the Jehovah's Witness called the prophet Daniel. They really didn't like that. They honestly think Jehovah's Witnesses only came about in 1914. They do not identify with the prophet Daniel and the other descendants of Jacob.

I pointed out that the most important descendants of Jacob, was Jesus Christ and I stood firm with him too.

They came very close to saying that the prophet Daniel is not channel Jehovah is using today and that if the GB said Jesus was not the Son of God they'd believe them. In fairness to them they just caught themselves in time, but only just.

So in my absence, 5 men carried out an unwarranted judicial. They were totally ignorant on what the Bible says and refused point blank to open the Bible and examine the matter (which is written up here on a website I did for the GB - http://olam30.co.uk/key/d01_explanation.php). They found me guilty of apostasy for sticking firmly to the words of the prophet Daniel and refusing to change the words in the Bible.

What I mean by that is if Jerusalem fell in the 19th year of Nebuchadnezzar, you can't say the following year was the 2nd year of Nebuchadnezzar (Dan 2:1). Also its a bit much asking us to believe that King Jehoiachin of Judah had an 8th year of rulership (2 Kings 24:12), when only ruled for 3 months and 10 days. Also I refuse to believe that King Jehoiakim of Judah had both a complete and an incomplete reign (Dan 1:1). And for saying this and saying I am certain I am right, one elder has called me irrational.

Anyway, the CoBE got up on the platform this Thursday and said I was not longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Well ok, in one way that term only refers to the descendants of Jacob, but to the congregation it means they think I am no longer Christian. It was a cruel, mean and nasty thing to do. But they did it to my friend Ray Franz and I am not surprised they did it to me.

Oh and at least two elders did look at the scriptures with me privately. They agreed I was right and didn't dare speak up because of what might be done to them.

Remind me what's the name of this year's convention?

Ironically with contravention if a person doesn't uphold the sins and apostasy made by the leaders of this organization, you are deemed evil and unloyal to Jehovah.

In this case its more about love and loyalty of the organization rather than inherent christian love spoken about in the bible.

Thousands of people over the years were Dfed and muzzled for speaking about the sinning apostasy taught by the WTS men, even using the bible as a supporting reference, even using the words of Jesus Christ.

Hi Finkelstein - yes I totally agree. And if this were the Middle Ages they'd be happy to murder people who didn't agree with their apostasy to Christianity. While all the time claiming to do the will of the God of Abraham - which they are NOT doing.

Interestingly, shortly after drilling down on the doctrine of disfellowshipping, the WTS said this in a Questions From Readers:

    https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1952848?q=exterminated&p=sen

    ● In the case of where a father or mother or son or daughter is disfellowshiped, how should such person be treated by members of the family in their family relationship?—P. C., Ontario, Canada.

We are not living today among theocratic nations where such members of our fleshly family relationship could be exterminated for apostasy from God and his theocratic organization, as was possible and was ordered in the nation of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai and in the land of Palestine. “Thou shalt surely kill him; thy hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him to death with stones, because he hath sought to draw thee away from Jehovah thy God, . . . And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is in the midst of thee.”—Deut. 13:6-11, AS.

Being limited by the laws of the worldly nation in which we live and also by the laws of God through Jesus Christ, we can take action against apostates only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with both sets of laws. The law of the land and God’s law through Christ forbid us to kill apostates, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship.

Nathan - "...It has also been well-documented that JW .org is 'coming after long--term inactive ones, that are causing 'divisions'..."

    I agree.

I suspected this might happen long ago, and voiced as much in my very first post here.

Most people I talked to didn't actually think it would happen.

    Yup.

Here's a good rule of thumb, folks...

...if an authority figure is constantly trying to silence its critics, odds are its critics are right.

Jeezus, even the Medieval Church figured that out.
