Jersey boy here. Live near Fort Dix. (Hi Beryl) I grew up in Hamilton Township, three streets from Trenton.
I do remember Cheif Halftown....with those awful performances by non-talented kids....always ran to change the channel when I happened upon the chief.
But, that ancient piece of history (the jingle) was way before my time. I was born in 79. Still, it's hilarious to listen to.

I was in Upper Darby, myself.... till '72. I remember all those shows, grew up with them. Anyone ever go to Drexil Hill Cong? District assemblys at the opera place in downtown Philly?

I grew up in Moorestown, NJ
Boy do I remember Sally Starr, Chief Halftown (he came to visit our school when I was in third grade). I also remember when Gene London did a personal appearance at the Levittown, NJ Plaza. This really goes back a looooooooooooooong way!
