SanFranciscoJim:
I appreciate your response indepth. I have and frequently heard the storys of Leo Greenlees and also of Percy Chapman. I knew both of these men however my association with them was merely on ocassions at Bethel and at conventions. I spoke more to Percy because he was a family friend. As you say he was a man of the old school and many men from this time were difficult to sometimes figure out. It is true of his boys he hand picked and his evenings out.
As for Leo, I knew him from assemblies. Oh I do think that both Percy and Leo were friends of my Grandparents as they were special pioneer in Toronto in the late 40ties. and fifitys I am not sure as to when they became friends with Leo. I guess it was when he was in Bethel. My grandfather was congregation servant in willowdale, they built the kingdom hall on Drury. ave . My grandfathers son my uncle always gave me the creeps later in the seventies he was discovered that he was a homosexual and pedophile . My father knew nothing of his brothers sexual side. But it seems unusal to me today that my grandparents were friends Percy and Leo and I' m just guessing here if this is some how my uncle became associated with homosexuality. As my Grandpa spent alot of time at Bethel. Tho my grandparents hearts were broken for his pervise actions . They never got over it .
Homosexuality is a individuals choice. But it should be practise by those who wish to practise it with them.
But these so called high men that ran/run a "God like organization" and preached that this is a practice unscriptual. It proves all the more to me why I left and that I knew that they were hypocrites. They are worse then the parables of Christ in fact the are the interpetation of the parables of Christ. They are the harlot that rides the wild beast just like all other so called organized religions.
I will check into this website and appreciate very much your helpful insite.
