They came around to see me once. God knows why, I'd just written a piece for my local newspaper about how kids hate being witnesses. I told the elders that I wanted an apology in writing before I would even discuss the matter.
The never came back...how peculiar!

I left 25 years ago, and in that time rebuilt my life, and moved back into the town I grew up in. This time with a wife and kids.( all Catholic!)
I am always polite to them, however in the 7 years at my address, they only called once and when they heard my story ( I even invited them in!) they never returned.
I must be marked! The people that I grew up with in JWs will not even acknowledge me in public.
