The world would be a "Theocracy" ruled by autocrats aka Governing Body. "Biblical" penalties for crimes, ie: Stoning, the death penalty for adultery, apostasy, aka walking disorderly, no industry, so primitive homemade building materials, agricultural implements, and clothing.

advances in science and medicine would grind to a halt, creationism would be mandated in schools, post-secondary education would be nonexistent, all foreign entertainment would be banned, any form of alternative sexual expression would be forbidden even between straight married couples, disfellowshipped people would be imprisoned or deported, and “apostates” would be sentenced to death without possibility of appeal or reprieve.
