Ok, we all know how all private ideas are quashed in the Borg. But, all that lobotimizing does have its effects that come out sometimes.
We were studying the paradise book I think and the Elder said he couldn't understand how people thought they'd get bored living forever. He said we'd all be busy taming animals because wicked man made them fearful. He actually said that we would no doubt get in little boats and tame the fish too !
I clearly remember one bookstudy where it was asked if we thought that there would be space travel! Give me a break!

I remember a gay old M/S telling me that he often spoke about the future with another M/S turned elder... as funny as it may seem, he was convinced that we would meet new lifeforms in the New System.

I knew and elders wife that thought that in the new system we wouldn't have rectums. Toilet paper would be a thing of the past because a perfect body would process the food so effeciently that there would be no "waste".
