I remember well the watchtower you are refering to regarding the more liberal humanitarian(at least from athe dub world), article. It was a 1974 Watchtower. The reason it was a more reasonable viewpoint was because.....if I remember correct....Ray Franz wrote the article. It allowed for speaking to disfellowshipped ones. When he was ousted from bethel it SOON went to the harsher "no tolerance" viewpoint.

It is nice you are a person who could see the flaws in this Organisation as you did. For many of us.....it took much more.

What a welcome.Thank you to everyone. I have a feeling I am going to like my new ~~congregation~~ home a lot better than the last one.

To Dr. Watson (windows) All I ask of you if we ever meet is you use a glove,take off your rings and have small fingers.

I know from lurking for a while the degree of pain and mental suffering that many of us still have even if we have been out for years.

This board is the best thing that could happen to aid in the healing process.Healing for me even after 20+ years out seems to be slow in coming.It helps a lot to know that I am am not alone in my feelings.Indeed many have suffered more mental trauma than I will ever know and my heart (not the literal one or is it??) goes out to you all.
