These types of quiz models always frustrate me because they mix two questions inside of one. Also some of the questions are taken out of context of the issues and can confuse participants ... but most importantly, in this specific quiz, their definitions of a conservative and liberal are not correct ...
That is why you are surprised. You showed up somewhat centrist-libertarian ... and I suspect you thought you were liberal ... whereas I think of myself as conservative, and showed up a left-leaning & libertarian-leaning centrist. Go figure.

Actually Amazing, I was quite proud of where I showed up! I like to think of myself as a more moderate person with Libertarian leanings and it showed. I was very happy that my results were not too far from Expat's as I think he's a very reasonable, intelligent person. Yay me!

Anyway, I found the quiz quite straightforward. All my answers were "yes".

Expat, I found myself leaning toward all yes's but there were questions that I went with maybe's instead. I need to be convinced on a few economic issues such as minimum wage.
