How Did You Do It?

Have any of you here successfully woken up PIMI family members or friends and got them out?

If so, how did you manage to do that, what was the information that made them jolt up out of their hypnotism?

my husband is starting to wake up a little bit

(although he doesn't want me to know it)

    i drop hints but

seems to me the less i say the better, it just makes him angry and he defends the borg more (i guess it's one of those "win him without a word things" lol)

the wt dudes are waking him up more quickly than i ever could anyway

he got really upset about the beard and pants changing thing!

(he had gotten a tongue lashing from the elders before about having a beard during covid)

my kids woke up easy because they could see through the shenanigans

so just talking about things truthfully with them helped them wake up right away

So far I have woken none of my family members up. Tbh I really don’t want to, and at their age they are better of left there.

However, when I’ve tried. I find I have to pick my arguments carefully. For example I’ve shown this video to show that the lds is part of Babylon the great.

you can't do it, but if you know the person himself and know the reason why he is a witness or you know his past you can sow an argument

I managed to blow up a pioneer because in his past he had been a politician and close to Freemasonry

the argument is that Christ left a teaching to remember him by

passing the bread and wine that you eat and drink to be a Christian

Where do you find in the Bible that you have to pass dish and wine???

    nowhere !!!!!!

so one may ask who has this practice,

he is familiar with Freemasonry and with some good friends there, he doesn't believe his ears when I maintain that high-ranking Freemasons reject bread and wine and Christ, it pushed him to do research and it is the research that pushed him away from these jw who have Masonic practices

and then I finally said that revelation gives us a way to easily understand what satanic organizations are

who rides the wild beast in search of money

with related dpi from the NGO jw on onu.org

    best regard

Wow I did not know that about the Free Masons passing the bread and wine!

I find that JWs in general don't believe Freemasons actually exist, a clever ploy by the borg!

I have helped support their decision to leave. And helped them to readjust to the non-jw world. I have said that it is hard to help PIMIs to get out, they need what I call an AHA moment, when they finally experience the hypocrisy personally, and are confused. Those have become PIMO. But I don't get into a long conversation about the flaws of the WTS. I had doubts but it was about 10 years of still going before I had my AHA moment at a circuit assembly. Just keep it brief and stop when it seems they are getting defensive. I found it is better just to ask thought-provoking question but not supply the answer.

Here's a stradegy that I have used that had suprising results. I put on my "ricky righteous" persona. By this I talk about how wonderful it is that the GB has such a nice place to live that is supported by our hard earned dollars. How the headquarters is like a country club/resort for their enjoyment. And we know that this is the way Jehovah meant it to be for them to live. Blah,blah........ You should see the look in their face as the wheels start to turn as they go back to their humble place and live on a tight budget. Several that I have done this with no longer attend. This is more effective due to the fact that you are not being confrontational as starting an argument. Remember these people have been programed with "switches" installed in their minds to turn off any negative comments.

I like that! Kind of reverse psychology!

I've always told my friends and family when asked that I didn't have issues with the congregation or elders or anyone, but I did have issues with the corporation. Some get exactly what that means and go no further. Those that wonder what I mean just tell them to google something, usually something specific. I don't send links to anything unless I know it's completely safe. The Candace Conti thing was very effective, especially once they got into the youtubes. The Australian Royal Commission was also very effective. There is so much out there now, if you can drop a hint like "man I never thought this would ever happen" about the cases in Montana/Pennsylvania, Norway. Dave Gracey's experience as an elder and the case with his daughter and the elders and Utah Supreme Court should be eye opening to anybody.

My goal was always to plant a seed, a quick thought of something they would not forget. It could be an inconsistency with one of their doctrines, or hypocrisy with giving "aid," just a thought with a bit of acting thrown in with my own "shock". Maybe when they hear it at the hall or wherever, they will remember what it was I had an issue with.

    Good luck!

Remember, we are regularly reminded not to listen to the voice of strangers. In this situation, anything you say to try to wake them up, would be considered the voice of a stranger. Then they would heed this warning, go into WT mode, get as far away from you as possible to keep themselves spiritually safe.
