Another Repetitive JW Public Talk: What's the Kingdom Doing For Us Now?

This young fool (who is probably a born-in ) is no older than 35 years of age. I started attending meetings before he was even born. Little does he know that you and I and millions of others have listened to this same themed talk, ''What's the Kingdom Doing For Us Now,'' in 1972.

He states that by learning about the ''four horsemen'' in Revelation 6:1-15.... "You will see clear evidence that you an I are living in the last days.'' He goes on to ask, "When did the ''four horsemen" begin their ride? He answers..."1914"

This talk was probably given by Charles Crazed Russell in 1870s, Judge Slime Rutherfraud in the 1920s, and this young fool in 2018. And, I'm sure this same talk will be given many more decades from now.

Just like for-profit Corporations that strive to stay in business by any means, the WTBTS has been in business since the late 1870s.

How do you stay in business for so long: REPEAT AND RINSE. WAIT FOR MEMBERS TO LEAVE, DIE-OFF OR REMAIN IN, AND WAIT, AND WAIT, AND WAIT......... TAKE IN NEW MEMBERS AND REPEAT THE PROCESS.

In the Real World of course, where those of us who have truly woken up live, we realize that no such Kingdom exists, or ever will.

So the answer to the question posed in the P.T title is : " Two things, not much and sod all".

It would be neat if there was a video or audio of that talk in 1972. Then compare them side by side. You're right-as a born in I had no idea about all the regurgitation and failed predictions, 1914, 1925, 1975 until I left. (Im also in my mid 30's).

His Mom & Dad are probably sitting in the audience gleaming at how proud that they are that their son is such a "spiritual man." lol

He looks good but what's inside? It makes me wonder.

Remember what Tony Morris said about his boys, in his interview, "they make US look good." That's what it's all about, looking good and "spiritual." Whitewashed graves full of dead mens bones.

As far as the message he is speaking about, wash, rinse, repeat.

Anthony and Susan Morris with their young sons

With my wife, Susan, and our sons, Paul and Jesse

Susan and I were blessed with two sons, Jesse and Paul. As they grew up, Jehovah was with them. (1 Sam. 3:19) Because they made the truth their own, they make Susan and me look good. They have continued to serve Jehovah because they have remembered their own first love for him. Each of them has been in full-time service for over 20 years. Also, I am proud of my two beautiful daughters-in-law, Stephanie and Racquel, whom I view as my own daughters. Both of my sons married spiritual women who love Jehovah God with all their heart and soul.—Eph. 6:6.

Rules and Regulations, that's dark. I wonder how that kid would react if you told him that. Honestly, I think you'd stun him, I'm sure he'd interpret it away or get mad or run or whatever but... that's powerful, 47 years later... oh god, oh god.

I get what you're getting at. I guess I just feel for the kid, it sounds like you might too at some level. I wasn't quite there, you guys know I wasn't a Jehovah's Witness, but I was pretty close, the Baptists deceived me pretty good. I hope he figures it out sooner than later.

Very similar to time share presentations, a repeat of same old benefits to newly recruited buyers who are unaware of prior gullible individuals who paid way too much for something they could get on e bay for $1. They are successful only because there is a constant flow of uneducated buyers . BTW there are web sites that are dedicated to educating about timeshares(kind of like this site that tries to educate "newly found ones") but the problem is that probably half the population doesn't educate themselves.

The only reason I called th young man a fool was just like Betheliesalot wonderfully worded: another newly recruited and gullible Witness who doesn't realize that this JW Public talk has been given hundreds of times throughout its 140 year period. Just like a timeshare that needs new owners (who pay too much and have a hard time selling it later on), the WTBTS need new members who recite the same talk over and over.
