I do correct misinformation. I have had people ask me why I became one and I tell them about what I learned .......... I explain that I have no problem with most of their teachings but I don't agree with the control over lives, the blood issue and they hypocrisy that I observed. I explain how they cut people off from their families and how they treat people like the Pharisees of old treated the unlettered ones. I explain that the behavior they exhibit is the same behavior that Jesus condemned........they judge others rather than let Jehovah do the judging. They are rule sticklers instead of trying to obey the spirit of Jesus law of love.

Yes, I do correct them. I would want to be corrected if I was misinformed as well

I usually correct them and then tell them they are going to die at armageddon.

I usually correct people as well. I do not think it is good for us to give them any amunition against us apostates.
They are told that we hate Jehovah and his people. That we will lie and say anything to make them look bad.
I think it is important that we refute these statements by speaking the truth about JWs and what they do and do not believe.

I have corrected misinformation, and I would continue to do so...for anything really. Like is someone said "JW's do not accept medical treatment" I would answer that by saying "Well, they do, but no blood transfusions" and then I would continue on about blood factions and their weird ideas about that.

My favorite thing to do is to tell the whole truth about a matter. "Do JW's believe in celebrating birthdays?"....."No. Because only pagans were known to celebrate birthdays and 2 people in the Bible got murdered because of bithday celebrations."....."Do JW's believe in heaven?"....."Yes. But nobody alive can go there unless they're one of the 144000 joint heirs."....."How do JW's show love?"...."They prove it by disfellowshipping any that might not totally agree with their Governing Body. They will forever shun anyone that will not accept all teachings of the Witnesses. That is an ultimate show of love to disown even a parent or child"......."Would a JW eat a birthday cake?"....No, a Witness would not eat a birthday cake but they would eat Halloween candy AFTER the celebration is over."

I always correct misinformation... I have found that it lends credibility to what I say when telling people about how harmful the WTS is.
One of the best ways to loose your credibility is to NOT correct something that is wrong because people will think about you when they learn what the truth is.

We have no need for sensationalism when there is so much established fact to show the WTBTS for what it really is.

That's why I don't like threads that suggest the Watchtower Society owns transfusion clinics or blood sausage factories.
