Thanks so much to everyone for their support over the past weeks.
I truly appreciate it.
Tim interviewed me every night this past week in order to get me ready. It was grueling and I was in tears (not due to any pressure from him, but because of my own inadequacies); I've relied in the past on my personal warmth and integrity to get jobs but really needed to learn how to answer difficult questions. In the end, I got it due to my warmth, "caring" nature (interviewer's words) and integrity.
I know that sounds conceited. But these are the very reasons I am NOT successful at my current job.
In this position, those qualities will be rewarded.
So I am now an Assistant Manager (Trainee).
Thanks, gang.
And a word of advice: Always LOOK at your Gatorade before you drink it.
EDITED: I don't want someone to rat me out before I leave.
(The question is WHY would you want to drink it? Ugh. Nasty stuff.)
I am spared learning the "ready to eat" line at work now; training starts tomorrow. Woo-hoo! No calls asking if Cap'n Cruch is gay for me!!!!
