India contains a large portion of the earth's population. What about Matthew 24:15? So, JWs are the people chosen by the creator to urgently warn the world of imminent doom? If so, then why would he let them run out of money in an area like India - an area that has so many people and that hasn't had much of a warning???
Jah will help a sister in the U.S. get new shoes for a convention, but he won't or can't help the India branch get the funds to print mags so the preaching work can be carried out there?

Proportionally, there are very few JWs in India to the population and likely it would not be a source of donations. It is likely not worth the Watchtower’s time and easier to write off and concentrate on retaining membership where there is a higher concentration of JWs.

Let's hope not. Bans do nothing but strengthen their resolve.

Gayle:2014 Service Report shows 39,355 Avg. Pubs
Over a hundred years in the publishing business and they have that many publishers. Quite an achievement with the population of India! That must be a misprint isn't that supposed to be Indiana? LOL

Can they not receive literature from another branch? Or is that seen as receiving an outside donation? -

Years ago the Government of India through the finance ministry withdrew the license that the WBTS had to receive foreign funds. It was commonly acknowledge that the funds were stopped because WBTS did not carry out any charitable works, as listed by the government to claim tax exemption. As a result WBTS stopped shipment of Bibles, bound volumes, cassettes, and a huge list of publications. Several hundred bethelites and special pioneers were dismissed.
The opening post seems to be an extension of what has already been taking place.
