Doodle, thanks for the funny thread!
Oddly enough, I have a story to relate.
My husband and I moved to the country about 15 years ago, and I was pregnant with our son.
We met some "dirt farmers" a man and wife, who lived just down the road. We ended up the best of friends, although they were quite a bit older than us.
Every saturday, we would get together to make fried donuts, or whatever. Well, one night,
we were invited over for "chili" supper. I was eight months along with child. They kept giggling at me during dinner, and I couldnt figure what was so funny, I thought it was cause I was eating so much....
Well, when they satisfied themselves that I was full, they informed me that I had just indulged in "coon chili".......
They laughed hysterically whilst I vomited from the front porch!!!
Anyways, I just found out today that the Mrs. has just gone to join her husband in heaven, and since they had such a sense of humor, I wanted to include it here on your funny post.
COON CHILI?????!!!!
AGHHHHH!!!
great story!!!!
ROFLMAO!!!
This would be a "regrettable menu item" --
I went to an Oriental fast-food place in a mall in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada).
One of the featured entrees was "CHICKEN BALLS".
I told my friend, "I just learned something new about chicken anatomy tonight!"
Gopher: keep in mind, those so-called chicken balls, came from: MINNESOTA
or, North Dakota.
