Wednesday is the big day.I am going in for rotator cuff surgery and i am very nervous.I have lived in pain now for 6months not wanting to do this but the time has come.I am also going to have bone spurs dug out that have grown into the cuff. The scarriest part is the pain ,i am in so much now and i know it will be worse.WISH ME LUCK AND LOTS OF PAIN KILLERS. kls

Good luck, kls! I've never had shoulder surgery, but I've sure had my fair share of others (the god of carpentry has exacted my pound of flesh, and then some )
In my order of preference: Demerol, Percodan, Darvocet...preferably, all at once
I don't need to tell you how much better you'll feel to get rid of that chronic pain

All the best for tommorow!! You'll come out the other side wondering why you didn't have it done earlier. Post-operative Pain control is excellent in most modern hospitals these days too.

I waited and waited to have back surgery, living in chronic pain for YEARS, and have never been happier since I took the plunge. I hope that you'll have similar success and relief.
