  SBF - there was a congregation in the Stevenston which was at the centre of the Panorama paedophile scandal. The resulting scandal caused changes in the congregation and elders.

  Two KHs I went to have gone. Waterlooville has merged with Horndean and in Spain the Corralejo congregation has merged with Puerto del Rosario.

  St George of England

  Earlier this year the Berry Hill Congregation was removed and merged with the Mansfield (Nottinghamshire) Congregation. The new congregation retains the name Mansfield but they have been moved to join the Sutton-in-Ashfield congregations at their Kingdom Hall in Sutton-in-Ashfield, about 4 miles away.

  The elders of these 2 congregations never got on apparently so now they are combined it should be quite interesting.

  The old KH will no doubt be sold and the funds sent to the WT Society. Does anyone from this area know what the state of play is with this KH?

  • dunno quite what that means. shanklin was the one i attended on and off in the 1970's
  • as far as i know--my 1st wife--a born in--and our daughter--and her kids--still attend. maybe its now called sandown..

  once there were 7 or 8 kingdumb halls here on the Isle of Wight...now just 3 that i am aware of.

  It would be 'helpful' for them to merge/delete/change the name of every congregation that has a case of child abuse. It will make it more complicated to sue them.
