And Freddie Pooh, the fact that JWs don't care about those who have left, proves even more that it is an unloving and uncaring religion. And they can have it. - Amazing

You Know
LaRouche has been predicting financial gloom and doom for a long time, and so far, he has NOT been correct inspite of some chart comparisons that HE and his Publoishing Arm put together.
You are obviously in denial, or simply lying as seems to be your propensity. In the last 13 months or so, there has occurred the largest financial bloodbath in history. Some 5 trillion dollars of wealth were wiped out. The establishment media has and still is in service of Wall Street, had been proclaiming that there was a New Economy, that all a person had to do was get i on the dot com gold rush and they would be wealthy beyond their dreams. Meanwhile, a few months before the NASDAQ bubble ruptured, LaRouche warned of it's imminent blowout, along with the whole system. The mainstream media and Wall SStreet gave no warning. Millions of people lost substaintial amounts of money. Some lost the retirement. Some lost homes and business. In fact, there are many lawsuits in the pipeline becuase so many were swindled. It was the largest swindle ever perpetrated. So, who was right, Wall Street and its lackeys, or the "crackpot" LaRouche? The facts speak for themselves. Even now though, the same process is repeating itself whereby reality-adverse individuals insist that the recent blowout was a mere correction and that Alan Greenspan can fix everything. Meanwhile some people in the business world are coming to realize that Greenspan is a madman and that if we remains at the levers the global financial system is doomed. As long as there are unthinking sheeple that are willing to be led time and time again to the slaughter, the die is cast. / You Know

I don't know too much about LaRouche except for what my Uncle Joe informs the family about from LaRouche at family gatherings. I feel I am at a meeting at the hall with all the gloom and doom. My Uncle is a very intelligent, educated man and well informed about many subjects. At the same time, he believes the government is stalking him and has planted bugs in his home. He also thinks that Satan has manipulated the television set to send out hypnotic messages to the masses.
Personally, I think my Uncle is paranoid and looking forward to a world collapse to give him a reason for the hell he has created for himself.

You Know: I am not really concerned if LaROuche happened to get some small one right. Kind of like the way the WTS claims that they got 1914 right, when all they did was chnage the prediction to fit the facts after the fact.
But, the economy is doing fine. A routine slowdown that is more of a soft landing. The housing market is great, the commercial market is great, and interest rates are below 30 year averages by about 1 point, which is awesome.
And even IF we have some major shake-down, it happens from time to time as part of the normal economic cycle. You and I sparred over this last year, and you gloom and doom have not happened on any major scale.
In fact, you are the one who has made repeated predictions and all failed, and you still cling to your whore religion. But, back to your big bubba, La ROuche, he was making these inane predictions in the mid 1970s and early 1980s, mid 1980s and so on. If the man lives another 20 years and keeps making gloom and doom predictions, it will eventually correspond with one of the normal down cycles, and he will proclaim his accuracy, and You KNow will be kissing his feet in worship, and telling me how stupid and dumb I am. But, the folly is in following man, which you do. Whereas truth seekers follow facts, evidence, and look to no man, but only to God. You worship men and their organizations, whereas true Christians worship God and look to a far greater city, a far greater reward than serving La ROuche and the GB. - Amazing

Amazing says "The real truth is Watchtower Society left Jehovah"
Over 20 yrs. ago at a Gilead Graduation Bro. Glass gave a talk to missionaries about loyalty,we taught all "you know" (no pun intended), so please be loyal to us. He related a recent experience where a past graduate who was sent to S.America had recently held a judical committee,it consisted of himself, Jehovah, and Jesus Christ. They came to an unanimous decision, they DF'D the Society. What a hoot.

YK,
I read the material on the cite you gave regarding LaRoche's speach. As a Witness, with the mindset like you have, I can see why you like LaRoche. His writing style is a lot like Rutherford's with his doom and gloom demogogary. LaRoche, like Rutherford is long on assertions, generalities, half-truths, and immflamitory language, but short on facts and logic. Just two expamples of LaRoche mistakes: First, 1987 what not a crash in the market, it was a major correction due to an oversold market. If people did nothing with their investments (as I did), their money would have doubled five years after the correction. By the way, he was not the only one to see trouble in '87. Many did, including me. I took my short term money out two months before the drop. I left my retirement money invested because, I knew that in the long term it would be all right, which it was. Second example, our standard of living is not declining as claimed by LaRoche and others. Over the past 30 years, the standard of living, as measured by how long it takes the average person to buy the same products has improved sustantially (See the book, "Myth of Rich and Poor.)
Further facts to substantiate my last state can be provided upon request.
If you have a reference that shows his "scientific graphs", please provide it for my review. -

YK,
Now I am going to address your last post regarding the carnage on Wall Street. It was not carnage at all for the average invester, but only for those who got caugth up in the over sold speculative hi tech portion of the market. This was known and predicted by many, many people. It is part of history. It has happened before and it will happen again. I have my money in three mutual funds. For the last 12 months, I am even - no loss, no gain. I did not loose a house or any sleep over it, because in the long run I will be fine. The warning of a fiancial Armageddon were greatly over exaggerated, at least in my case.
