Haulover Beach in North Miami Beach is fantastic. It is really close to nirvana, floating embryonically in the waves naked.

Dude!! You must not have been there on saggy old people day like I was then...yikes!

On a side note, I would TOTALLY travel across the country for a nudist apostofest. I am suprised this many people here so far have mentioned nudism/naturalism.

I'm really not a nudist. I've just done it a few times. A friend of mine is totally into it, like it's a lifestyle. It was fun to do. I prefer wearing a bathing suit as it keeps sand out of areas that don't require sand in the first place.

What about making love on the beach? ow

I'd love to visit Fla. The beaches look gorgeous. I'm going back to visit hawaii this winter break with my family. That's not so bad either. Maybe I'll visit little beach there. I've heard a lot about it.

You know living in California that you DO have to be careful !!!!! The sun's effects can be felt very quickly (at least for me with my "white" skin ... my wife being Columbian has skin that lets her just tan instead of get red).

But yes, once, I DID get burned. This is not the place to go into details, but everything from my neck to my knees was burnt after falling asleep in the Miami sun for over 2 hours with no sunscreen.

We "discovered" Little Beach in Maui about 5 years ago. Very relaxed, non-threatening, down to earth atmosphere. Occasionally some local young guys will sit up on the bluff overlooking the beach, but if they take out binocs or try to use a camera - they are very sternly told to get the hell out!

Over the years, we have met some very interesting people (all shapes and sizes) from all over the world. Everyone gets along, enjoys the freedom, beautiful surroundings and warm water. Little Beach is also one of the best places to boogie board, body surf because there are very few rocks, coral or other nasty things below the surface. (Stacy, you will love it!)
