I am dying for some distraction. My gorgeous nose has been stuck in books all day, and my gawd, I want some fun, some action, and some sleep. But I am not really sleepy, just tired, and I want some nice food, but am feeling a bit sick to my stomach cuz of all the chocolate I have been eating, and the chocolate wan't even meant for me, but it was so yummy, and I couldn't help it.

    *sigh*

    I guess I have the study-blues.

    Help.

    vivamus,

just curious, what made you choose that subject to read? I am interested because some of my relatives were killed in camps in Jasenovac and Stara Gradiska?

    thanks.

I find chocolate too sweet, so when I eat some, I wash it down with a glass of coke.

Invictus, I got an assignment to write an essay about the role of the Church, in Eastern Europe. That being a rather broad research subject, I started to look for a more narrowed down topic to write about.

At the same time, I was reading the book "Balkan Ghosts" by Kaplan, and the name Stepinac came up. From that point on, I started reading about Stepinac, and so on. I am hardly an expert on the matter, my studies in regards to history have always been focused on Western Europe and so this was/is in large parts new to me. But immensly fascinating.

For you it must be ever so much more personal, I am sorry for your loss of family.
