  Again its important to stress that the WTS. perceives pedophilia in the same genre as other sex related sins such as adultery or fornication

  That is the key to understanding the WTS reaction to all of this.

  In the WTS collective mind, child rape is no better and no worse than 2 unmarried adults engaging in consensual sex. To them it is all merely "porneia".

  Just as they think it is important to "protect the privacy" of the 2 consenting adults, they think it is important to "protect the privacy" of the child abuser as well.

  Of course, they really don't give 2 figs about "protecting the privacy" of anyone. They are principally concerned with protecting the assets and reputation of the organization, and yes, in that order.

  FINKELSTEIN & SIR 82- One of the HUGE problems ( among many ) that I see with the WT leaders and WT Society's views also is in treating child abuse as a SIN only and NOT a crime against society and minor children in general. I mean think about it- people cannot be arrested by police authorities in Western Society for committing adultery or fornication by consenting adults - but adults CAN be arrested for forcible rape on another adult. And ALL child abuse should be prosecuted as seriously as rape or a felony like murder. But because WT Society SEEMS to only classify some wrongdoings as " sins " instead of " crimes " - it causes a totally perverted, skewed view of lawless behavior allowed inside the JW organization. Just my 2 cents

  All of this cover up is related to protecting the image of the organization, they say we find child abuse abhorrent

  but when it does happen they instruct elders to not report the incident to local law authorities, only when its required to do so by law.

  So once again we can see the WTS. talking through both corners of their mouths hypocritically.

  I might add that JWS less the elders, do not know of this secretive policy directed to elders.
