I've bought 2 guitars, roto toms (drums), cymbals (for drums), currently waiting to recieve my newest drum, albums, CD's, books, I get my printer inks there and at a WAY cheaper price than at stores, software, videos, my digital camera...get the picture? Only time I got burned was buying a record turntable from some Canadian! lol
Best use of ebay IMO though is comparison shopping.
3 computers, 1 3.5 hp boat engine, 2 cellphone belt clips, 1 laptop display, 1 projection tv kit, 1 laptop drive adaptor (allows you to hook up a laptop hard drive to a regular pc), sony high-end headphones.
Maybe I'm lucky, but I haven't met any bad eggs yet. However, I suspect some sellers have friends that bid just to jack up prices. I know, because on of my friends who was going to sell stuff asked me to do it. I don't think I would've though, because I wouldn't want someone doing the same to me. Call me crazy, but I actually believe karma works.
I sold my beautiful 1965 lincoln continental with suicide doors on ebay *sob* *sniffle*. I also bought my brand new metal body resonator guitar on ebay. Ebay rules!

Maternity clothes, cloth diapers, a breast pump,a baby name book, a crib skirt (yup, I'm pregnant), a putter grip for DH's golf set, a Hallowe'en costume for my 3-year-old (Clifford the Big Red Dog ), and printer cartridges. That's all that comes to mind right now. I've been eBaying for a while now, though, so I'm sure I'm forgetting something. :)

I've bought stuff to make jewelry, baby clothes, bound volumes of WT (couldn't believe how much of that crap is for sale!), out of print books, and my hubby has bought a few things for the computer. I bought costumes for a costume party we just went to, and then I turned around and sold them back the next day! Ebay rocks!

I got a Hauppauge WinTV card for £12.70, I was well pleased.
As a joke, I once put an empty Coke bottle up for auction on eBay. It sold for $7.00 !!
