Hey Rocket! Thanks for the pic....LOL! I don't know if the Red Wings can spare it right now as they've lost their last two games. (against the Penguins and Habs of all teams) I give the Lions until next year to really improve. After that I'm calling for the return of Wayne Fontes.
I've long since given up hope for the Tigers..that and I really hate baseball so I don't care.

I have a feeling within a couple of years we're gonna be great tho. As rocket said, our little joey hasn't grown up yet - give him some time. And you're right - a veteran QB to make Joey "ache" to play & teach him a few things would work wonders.

Ah, the Cubs....after losing with their two best pitchers on the mound at home with a 3-1 lead, I don't know what could help them. Plus, they have Dusty Baker, who gets lots of credit this year, but at the same time seems a bit cursed himself (his Giants blew the Series to the Rally Monkey last year, and a few years back won 100 games and did not make the playoffs, before the wild-card format was adopted.
To top all that, the blame gets placed on some hapless fan.
Aztec, the Wings loss to the Pens has me indeed wondering if I have spoken too soon. Today, they sent Curtis Joseph to the minors, which seems like an odd move (he'd make a fine backup to Hasek I would think).
On the other hand, I do have a new name for this combined Detroit team: the Detroit Lings.

Why would they send Cujo to the minors? That does seem odd! It's not as if the Dominator is up to his usual stellar self yet. The Detroit Lings? How bout the the Wions? Okay that sounds dumb.
