Having read the bible over and over again, how would you resume summarize what you read in the bible?
What message did you retain from the bible?

Blondie,
If you had to resume in a few words what the bible says in hundreds of pages, what would it be?

Once a brother told me the theme of the bible could be, "from paradise lost to regained". If ever that happens...

Perhaps you mean "summarize."
Matthew 7 (The Message Bible) 12 "Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God's Law and Prophets and this is what you get.

That,s true Blondie
But an answer to my question could be. "Obey or be destroyed"

JH: That's the message from the org, not from God's Word to his children.
That message is "Love your neighbors as you love yourself."

I've never encountered this usage of the word "resume" before. I think you might mean "condense."
Anyway, to sum up the Bible, I'd say, "Faith, Hope, and Love. The greatest is Love."
For details, send me a big check or a prostitute.
