YEEESSSSS...Aztec....Fight The Power was the song!! I went to see PE in Columbia, SC.
(But leave Steve alone! I was in love at the time. What can I say?)
Insominiac..that was Sheila E. I have Love Bizarre. Still love it.
Did anyone wear white lace socks and high heel pumps? Tell the truth.....
Journey sucks! I don't care what anyone says. Steve Perry's voice is as melodic as a the Chipmunks.
This could be the beginning of a very meaningful relationship Az!
Syrup
"Rock the Casbah" - The Clash
I bet no-one had a V neck white Tshirt like me with a fake string stitched on vest visible in the V shape style like me. I was 15 in 1985 and with my leather jaket thought I was REALLY " it" away from meeting nights. Also wore fingerless luminous green gloves.....what a knob I must have looked! LOL
Scooby look up a few posts...Syrup mentioned "Relax"
Syrup, of course I'm right. And of course, you're sooooo old...LOL!
I liked NWA's "F*ck the System" as well. 2LiveCrew's "Dirty Nursery Rhymes"...can you tell I listened to alot of rap?
Didn't the Dead Kennedy's release "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables" in the 80's? I know they released "Frankenchrist" then because I was in 5th or 6th grade. I love them although most of their best stuff came out in the 70's! East Bay Ray is still one of my all time favorite guitarists. He pioneered spooky surf guitar.
The Beastie Boys "Paul's Boutique" came out in 89. "Hey Ladies" is still one of my favorites!

I'll think of more I'm sure!
