I used to look at ones that said that as if they has 2 heads! On vacation, you're SUPPOSED to do bad things, right?

We've never been to the Caribbean, so I will say Hawaii is the best place for relaxation................not Honolulu. We go to the North Shore of Oahu and rent a beach house. ($65 a day) on one of the best beaches in Hawaii................undiscovered by tourists..................and the locals are only there on weekends and after school. The beach in front of our place is deserted almost all the time.

Do you mean what was my top vacation destination, or what I hope will be my top vacation destination in the future?

One of the most fascinating countries I visited was Israel. Yes, it was one of those tours with a million dubs, but the country was amazing, every square foot of that place has something historical/archaeological attached to it, whether from Canaanite times or the Crusades or this past century. If I'm not mistaken, Israel has the highest number of university graduates per capita in the world. Our tour guide had a degree in archaeology. (An interesting side note: when we were about to visit the Wailing Wall, the tour guide started off by telling us of the destruction of Jerusalem in, uh, 587 B.C.E. Since he had the Aid book (given to him no doubt so that he could give a proper tour to Jehovah's modern-day chosen people ) he was aware of the JW version of events, so after saying 587 BCE, he stopped, looked at one of the elders and said, "is that the date you use? He was quickly "corrected" by Elder-in-Charge, then the tour guide continued with the history lesson.)

We also went to Egypt, and, to my surprise, I was disappointed. The pyramids, the Temple of Karnak, King Tut's tomb, etc., if they were all closer together geographically, could be visited in 2 or 3 days. We spent a week, way too long. Cairo is one of the dirtiest, smelliest, disorganized, chaotic cities in the world.

However, another one of my favourite places is Vienna. Also Switzerland.

I hope to get to Barcelona in the not to distant future. And back to Vienna. Those are my two dream spots.

I've been to various places in the Caribbean and also to Mexico, but for me those aren't dream spots, more of a "need to get away from it all and relax" type of vacation. Hawaii, however, is gorgeous - too many tourists in Oahu, though.

I have been throughout Europe, Canada, and all but 3 states in the US, and Mexico.

I would like to go to Australia and New Zealand. I started saving my money.

I loved Jamaica. I think it was my favorite place. I really would like to fly up to Seattle and take a ferry up to Vancouver Island. I want to see the gardens in Victoria. I hear they are wonderful. I also think the ferry ride would be so relaxing and beautiful as you go through the mountainous areas.

I studied in Rome Italy, and it was so romantic that I decided someday I wanted to comeback for my honeymoor.

Fortunately, my bride to be at the time thought the same thing.

Italy is a wonderful vacation , any city, any time of year.

When I was in Jamaica, I was just out of on my own after my divorce. The men were all flirting with me and I was sooooo flattered after all those years to have some attention. One man definately had me almost melting towards his intentions but I was determined that I would be a 'good girl' and not get into trouble (although I did come back with hickies all up and down my neck.. lol).. but I did NOT go home with him from the resort.. or invite him to my room.. and when he tried to show me "how much" that he was proud of having, my conscience made my eyes turn away and say I couldn't look. Now I can just imagine a trip like that taken after JW life would be a different story. Well a trip like that and if I didn't have a bf..
