Well ... dunno ... A week to 3 months or so ... but then if you are a real friend you will have to leave (it was a joke but still it is true) ... nothing better than get away in Paris (I can be chauvinistic sometimes) just watch where you put your feet (because Paris is also doo-doo pets city !!!)

I think Blue Sapphire lives in Fontana. Hope she and baby are doing good, too. I woke up today and the sky is brownish, pinkish. The sun was tomato red! There are ashes all the way over on Catalina Island (26 miles offshore). The fires are still burning tonight. Thank God I am in Corona where there aren't any fires for now!

I didnt realize there were so amny people from California here. They set back fires a couple of blocks away yesterday. The winds seem to have shifted away from us for the time being. The smoke and ash is almost unbearable. It looks like a volcano. I have made friends with the firemen and we are keeping our fingers crossed for our friend's homes.

Another fire is burning in San Bernadino. About 20-25 minutes from. Homes have already been lost, but luckily no lives. I will keep you all posted. Be safe. Thanks for the concern.

Chevy, (( )) I grew up in the area and in fact very familar with San Bernadino. I can only imagine the flames. I know back in the 80's San Bernadino was a expanding place going up into the hills etc. Let us know how things are and keeping you in thought.
