Hey Lee, your van looks nice covered in snow! I was shocked when I walked outside yesterday morning as well. I went to put a new car stereo in my truck, and after it was all nicely installed, I found out it was a piece of junk. I hate new technology. Even though most of it melted yesterday, gotta love the snow we're getting today. Need more windshield washer fluid.
It sure is pretty from 'our' distance away though.
I can't say I miss snow too much. I moved away because I was tired of shoveling it. Your pictures do make me a little nostalgic and homesick though.
Of course I am here in my 84 degree weather as I look at your pictures.
I would not like the snow and the shoveling that goes along with it.........I could deal with the fur coat, though!
Lee: Your neighborhood looks familiar (I lived in Winnipeg for a few years). What part of the city are you in?
Running Man I am in the Wolesley area. But it seems to me most of the houses look the same here. Can't for the life of me how a part of the country with no trees has so many houses built with wood.
Hi ex-neighbor.
When I first moved to Winnipeg (in 1979) I was in Balmoral congregation, which would be just east of you. Our territory ran east from Arlington right into downtown. We also had a section of Tuxedo, as well as Wellington Cres (because no Witnesses lived there). I lived on Ellice Ave at Simcoe St.
See Lady, if we had your snow right now, we would not be in fire season........ I know the firemen would praise the rain gods if only we could see some rain about now.
Howdy old neighbor runningman.
Simplesally I am watching the fire news as I type - that is so incredibly scary. Hope you are safe and stay that way
