I am finally settled into my townhouse. Well, mostly settled. My new job is going great too. To celebrate new beginnings, life, art, etc, I am having a party.
I know that this is short notice but, the party will be this Friday, Halloween. I am hoping that the Missouri and Kansas apostates will drop in and visit. There will be media and artist type people milling about so bring your art work, if you like. If there are any non-local apostates that would like to drop in too, that would be way cool. I have an extra bedroom and will be glad to put you up for the night or weekend.

Also, to address a concern in a pm, there will be no jws at the party except for apostates. I am not from the KC area and have not established any real contact with the jws in the area. The only contact I have had in over 10 years is when Athanasius and I went on a covert visit to one of the kh to try to witness to the witnesses. We presented ourselves as worldly people and no one caught on. That was over a year ago.
Please, if you have any reservations about coming, let's discuss them.

LOL! Love this! I may do this with my non-JW husband just so he can experience the love-bombing. LOL!
It was fun, until it wasn't. I hate to confess this but, I crumpled under the love bombing and had to go to the rest room to have a good cry. Of course, I was preyed upon in the bathroom too. I love the witnesses and miss them dreadfully sometimes. Not enough to go back but still....
Hi Robdar, it was fun attending the KH with you last year. Hope that we can do it again some time. Sorry that I won't be able to attend the festivities at your place on Halloween, business obligations make it impossible to get away until next spring. But it sounds like you will have a lot of fun. What costume do you plan to wear? Since I can't make it to your party, plan to attend a Halloween party in Santa Rosa, and wear my priestly vestments. Hope to give counsel and hear confessions.

Gumby (my horndog amigo), yes, life can get better. It will be even better when I overcome the anger part of grieving. Still, it is improving all the time. I think that this party is a way to force myself to get out of the shell I have been living in. It would be fabulous to see you. I am thinking that it would be just what I need to put me in my happy place. I hope to see you next time.
