I hope I won't be called ignorant for asking this question, but, can someone please explain to me who is in the "faithful and discreet slave" class? I never fully understood this even when I was a JW.
Is it the Governing Body, or the writers, or the entire "remnant class" or what??

The definition in the dictionary, in short:
1. having or showing good judgement; PRUDENT
2. UNPRETENTIOUS, MODEST
3. UNOBTRUSIVE; UNNOTICEABLE
Obviously, except for perhaps the 3rd definition, "discreet" and "Watchtower" don't belong in the same sentence as a positive reference.
I think this is a very good question to ask a witness...

I wonder why the Watchtower Society changed it from "the faithful and wise servant" to "the faithful and discreet slave?" Does anyone know when this change came about?
