So sorry to hear you lost your brother. I plan on letting my entire family know they are not allowed to leave me. Death is no excuse. Frankly, I would be lost without my father, my anchor, my rock.

Sounds like you have an awesome dad. I loved my dad, but had no trouble functioning without him as I felt I did a better job at life tha he did. Maybe for me.....it was best we weren't close in the way you two are as I would have taken his death very hard. I am also a guy who can hide emotion I guess.
