This was my project for last year, and it took much of the year to learn and play it, but it is "halloween appropriate." It is the Danse Macabre and was orginally written for orchestra only. Franz Liszt did the piano reduction, and it is nearly impossible to play. At least for me anyway.
Anyway, happy Halloween, you apostates and wanna be apostates!

My project for this year is the Rachmaninoff "Rhapsody on a Theme By Paganini." I'm one or two months away from presenting it. It's hard enough to learn the piano part, but I also have to learn the orchestra part, and record that and then record the piano part, so the music makes sense.
I'm a masochist. What can I say?
