Damn... I know how that feels. When I was in High School and making a whopping $3.75 an hour I saved up about $75... which was a small fortune to me at the time. My family went to visit my grandparents and when we went in I forgot my wallet in the back seat. When I came back out it was gone. My wallet was later found by someone who noticed it tossed in their front yard, minus my money.

If you are up to the trouble, you can canvas the local pawn shops to see if the hockey equipment turns up... if it does they should have a record of who sold it to them.

Thanks guys for all your support..........

I am going to check the pawn shops in the city tomorrow, but because we are in hockey city,My guess is that they sold it privately....his skates a lone were worth 350.00 dollars....Just bought him his new gear this year, because he grew so much over the summer.....Yes it is my invassion of privacy that errks me the most...They did not get his stick though...It was worth 180.00....I am going to the local bank tomorrow to has well becuase my girlfriend lived near it and they have a survalence camera....If any luck they might have the jerks on camera....Just found out today, that they did try to use my credit card......it came in as stolen, when the store clerk took to long with it, they ran...there was no camera there but they got a describtion of them....(there was 2 of them)...I am just fed up with crime anymore...I found the cops not supportive at all..basically gave me shit for leaving my van opened and running....and because of this I might not have a claim with my insurance company...they chalked it up to being my own falt....does anyone know what my rights are in this matter? I am going to insurance in the morning and need some help on this one......thanks everyone.........crying the bluesPouty...I feel sorry the most for my son,as he cannot play till we get him new equipment AGAIN..

As soon as you mentioned the hockey equipment I got twice as pissed off! This means war here in Canada, when you take hockey equipment the death penalty should be invoked eh!

Hope tomorrow is a better day sister!

Most common thieves are pretty low on the IQ scale. Believe me, if the cops are doing their job, these morons will get caught pretty quick!

Mort, I know exactly how you feel! Our home got broken into about a month ago. I'm so sorry that this happened to you! They have the nerve, don't they!!!!!! NOW we have a security system! Got a good system and we feel alittle better, but I'm still so upset, I can't see straight. It feels like someone punched you in the stomach.

    Bastards!

Michelle, that hockey stick, aside from our beloved national sport, when these two bastards are caught, I know exactly where to shove that stick.....

    .....if you get my drift?!?

    Sorry to read about this.

On a slightly positive note, I thought I had my cellphone stolen two weeks ago. A young U of T student found it, turned it on, and called people on my list to see if they knew 'who' owned the cellphone. He left messages at my friends' places, and eventually found my home number.

I spoke to him, and we are coordinating a pick-up time.

That warmed my heart. A young Muslim student, with a heart of gold.

Honesty, comes in all shades and colours.

Michelle, just the same, I hope they catch these two #@%* thieves.
