thanks querty .. i upchucked over my keyboard ..and now i'm annoyed ... not as annoyed as the time on h20 when a real evil apostate man by the name of Joe Mesko sent "we're jehovah's witnesses" organ music .. on an endless loop ..through my computer .. and the only way i could stop it was by unplugging the bloody thing!

You know I suspect that Carmen was hurt by someone that she met via the Internet and that is in part what motivates her to issue such cautions.
Many years ago I corresponded with Carmen and she came to Los Angeles on vacation to visit. I took her to dinner, a tiny Cuban restaurant which serves great food that she could not stop talking about.
Anyways our meeting was only friendly, she was really here to visit some "brother" that she had been e-corresponding with.
Well a few weeks later and many months even later, she called me on 2 or 3 occassions and wanted me to 3-way dial this guy's number. The deal was that if I heard a woman answer I was to just hang up or say I dialed the wrong number but if it was the dude then she would talk to him and I would hang up. This happened as I said a couple of times after her visit and for some time aftewards so I think it was an ongoing thing. It is only pure speculation but I think this supposed brother hurt her in some way because that much I could discern from Carmen's tone and pleading to me the last couple of times she wanted me to call this way for her when I was hesitant.
Anyway, all I can say is that Carmen, from what I know of her is a very sincere and sweet girl and I am sure that she is doing what she believes is right.

Looks to me like Carmen aka LatinDimples is spending to much time on the computer. Keeping up a web page takes a lot of time........time that she is wasting and taking away from her theocratic work. Tsk..tsk...tsk. What would the elders say?

Ahhhh yes... every JWs worst nightmare: DUPLICITY also known as, going to the KH to be a good JW and then spending the rest of your time as a normal human.
Remember we do not want to act different then we would in real life. It is easy to fall into the trap of acting different then we would normally do. With a different name or user name you can say things that we would never say because of the anonymous nature of many websites discussion boards.
Oh, and then this guy is obviously a smartass programmer who thought he was reeeal smart by diabling your ability to select and copy text on his web site... but as you can tell by my little cut and paste, I'm more slick than he is!
It is funny how paranoid JWs are about being quoted!

Isn't it sad? That something we all used to think was so normal, the JW lingo, etc. is so sickening now. I looked at Miss Latin Dimple's (gotta love that moniker) guestbook. It was interesting to read the qualities of Jehovah people listed as their fave. Most of them said: his undeserved kindness. We didn't ask to be put here and go through the hell we all go through. We don't deserve some kindness?? Especially from the God who is supposed to have put us here? I mean, don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed many aspects of my life; but I've been through enough hell to last several lifetimes. Most everyone has. I believe most people are basically good. I had one exjw who is still very damaged by borg thinking fuss at me when I said people are mostly good. She quoted the Bible saying that No one is good except the father. Now, didn't Jesus say that? I somehow think that has to mistranslated. Jesus was perfect and he wasn't good? I never thought Jehovah sounded like a real person. Looking at Carmen's site I still didn't get the feeling he is real.
Is it my imagination or do the JWs in her pics look like their eyes are glazed over? And what's with her pics of her with all those worldly musicians, etc? Isn't that an evil bad no no? Associating with worldly celebs? Or was she just gently using their celebrity to promote herself? Her site promotes Carmen Latin Dimples more than it does Jehovah or anyone else.
I'd say this site is sickening and annoying. Some guestbook signers give links to their annoying pages.
