    Hi All,

I've been on page 240 for several days and can't get it to update to the latest post. I've seen post with suggestions to refresh the post but can't remember all the sugestions. Anyone having the same problem? I just updated to XP PRO, someone gave it to me for helping them with their computer. It may have changed some setting I guess, maybe???

I can read my post by clicking on my name and reading my list of post.

First try pressing [Ctrl]+F5. That should do a full refresh of the screen.

If that does not work then try deleteing the temporary files of your browser.

    Elsewhere,

I've already tried both of those, nothing happened to get past 240. Thanks anyway.

Im not suprised....Microsoft.... ok....all I can think of given the nature of the beast (xp) is to do as elsewhere said...and delete all temp files...browser and other temp files...do you run anything like system mechanic or such....?? that might wipe out the clut....what browser do you use...?

I have the same problems as well. I've posted to the tech site, but what was suggested by some I had already tried. i.e. delete temp files, F5, delete cookies, etc. None of this works. Sent an e-mail to Simon a few days ago, no response. I know this is not a problem with my computer because we have 8 machines and it does the same thing on all of them. Maybe a problem with Simon's new compression system. But it is getting frustrating having to sort through all the Active Topics to retrun to a topic you were following. Patience is a virtue.

Same problem for me and I am stuck using Windows ME so it is not just an XP thing.

Ctrl-f5 and clearing cache and temp don't help either.

I take it you mean page 2040? Yep, I've been stuck on that page too.

This is an ongoing problem which I've had most of this year, all the usual suggestions of browser and cache clearing just don't work.

It used to update every two days whatever I did.

The only way around it, for example in 'friends' is to manually change the

    into

    http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/2401.ashx

click 'go' and so on to scroll through the next pages...but strangely even that doesn't work anymore. It's as if the pages don't exist!

Same problem here, two different operating systems, three different machines, three different locations in town.

I've had this happen before, for days. Then, suddenly, everything works, and I have several days to parse through....
