I just watched the show
Some really interesting ideas about making sure women remained as second class.
I don't buy into a lot of their theories but I can certainly see how some of them might be right on target

Haven't read 'The DaVinci Code', but _have_ read 'The Hiram Key'.
Many of the points that they brought out in the TV special, I had read about in the above mentioned book.
I would highly recommend reading The Hiram Key, by Christopher Knight & Robert Lomas. Their main goal was to find out the origins of the Masonic Lodge, but their research took them all sorts of ways.
They also wound up researching the era of Jesus Christ, and what he was up to - according to them.
It all makes sense.
