Mega, you are one funny dude! Heather, I am so happy to hear that!
Peoples personal choices are what affect there day to day activities. When someone ot work or a friend is down for some reason I have this ability to make there day better. I am constantly playning jokes on all the guys at work as well, cause ya gotta keep things interesting. A smile really goes a long way! If you can make it a personal goal to look forward to things and get enjoyment from smaller less important things, bigger things will prevail.
Every time we moved my Dad had no clue about the neighbourhood we moved to and still dosent as he lives in a bad area and thinks it's great. It must be his JW concept of life. So when we were kids in theses places I was constantly in fights with kids and got teased for being a JW amongst other things, gave me a real thick skin. So early on I said I wanna be happy and who cares what people say or what happens in life I don't care I'm gonna make it.
About ten years ago a guy punched me square in the face when I wasn't ready, I laughed.
So if your happy and you know it and you really wanna show it, drink some beer!

sounds like a pretty positive life. One of the best things is to sit back and realize it. I always thought if one left the JW life they would end up unhappy. That Jehovah would fail to bless/protect you and everything would go wrong in life. When I made the decision not to go back, I really thought my life is probably just going to go to hell (but figured oh well).. but instead I have so many things to be grateful for. I smile more now than I ever did as a JW. Life is so good and I am so happy. I read your comments in the opening paragraph and couldn't help but relate..
all except for the cigar that is.. I let my bf smoke those..
