generally AWANA is used in Baptist churchs

Hooberus, Nikki has been attending a Luthern church. I guess, I will just keep my ears open for now. I just don't want her to get caught up in a cult like I was. She does like attending Church though.

My church has an Awana club. I think it is a club-type program, like Brownies, only with an emphasis on the Christian message.

I have never heard of this group here in the Netherlands.

In our area, at least, AWANA is associated with the Baptist Church. In several of the local cities/towns, it seems to be held at and I thought was part of the Baptist Church.
