One of my favorites... this will slap you in the face and then disappear in a very smooth flavor.
Amaretto Sour Ingredients:
1 jigger Amaretto
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Ice
Maraschino cherryMixing instructions:Rub the rim of an old fashioned glass with lemon, and dip repeatedly into granulated sugar until it has a good "frosted" rim. Shake a jigger of Amaretto with the juice of 1/2 a lemon. Strain into glass and add ice. Garnish with a Marachino Cherry.
This is also great as a simple shot... just mix the Amaretto and Lemon juice in a shot glass and throw it back!
Creator/contributor's comments:Use whiskey instead to make a "Whiskey Sour". Once you have tried this drink made with real lemon, you'll never be able to drink those "mixers" again.
