I remember my first job. I used to build/troubleshoot lighting and PA systems, working in clubs every weekend. Most of my work was at the begginning of the night, because it was cheaper for them to pay me as a technicion to fix the gear than it was to buy a new set of equipment. More often than not I ended up being carried out with the speakers at the end of the night.... I spent 3 years just working at the weekends, then 1 year full time, a different place everyday. I loved it, and I got paid for it.
