BtC, You have painted two totally different pictures of yourself.

One df'ed and never went back.

The other, a borg "spritual " giant, that woke up, and stepped off the stage, afters years of "Privilege" and walked away, pretty much without question.

    Hi pile2222,

there a lot good books outside, but english is not my native tongue (- so sorry, sometimes my writing sounds a little bit wrong). If you wan't some input to think about structures: Orwells 1984, I love the book. For understanding how evil they lie to you: Johnssons book about the gentile times. And CoC.

Which bible is hard to say, mainly it depends on what you like and where you live (language, translation). Main options: take an older translation if you like hard to read but very accurat text. If you like a happy and easy to read option, take a newer and free translation. Or buy some cheap used - and look which you like. There also a lot of apps out there, some with a lot of translation also some interlinear bibles for free. Maybe it helps, to start with the new testament. And yes, I think the NWT is poison. A bad and biased translation.

If you like to start your day with novels, do it. Take happy once ;)

There also some websites in different language, for believers they be or been JW and like to follow him without preassure.

What means hard to you? Maybe you read the words with a JW-point-of-view. Follow Christ under attacks from JW? Live undercover?...? Rise a child as christ and not as a JW? This all is hard, but not in the way you learn it as JW. There'll no scoring, you not get judget by your preaching time or something like this.

I often try to leave this point of view beyond me, it don't work always. Im a born-in, baptised at 14 more then 15 years ago, also have to be active, so it's not easy for CFL all the day. Hope to fade some day. But one think, maybe helps you. Do your research step by step. If you a beliver, don't look at everything at the first time, e. g. what the GB does, first check, if the appointed to make decissions.

It was brought to my attention that there was another post a while back made from my account . I am unsure how that message was tagged as being from me . I am not and have never been DF'd and I in fact Live and have always lived in the Central U.S. and not where was mentioned within that message . I have tried to contact the moderator on how to remove that or both of my posts ... or even how to close my account and then open a new one . So far no response.

    Brokethechains, welcome.

Interesting read about Losch. To be expected actually. No concern for the time, effort, or money spent to host him in a home or fix a meal for his benefit. Kept men are use to dismissing the efforts of those considered lessers.

'Not his job to worry about those needs', eh? Well, that too is to be expected. The locals know his name, he doesn't care to know theirs. Just kinda stepped to the other side of the road leaving the locals to bleed out.

Only a true servant called by the Spirit would give a rats ass about the flock entrusted to him. A true servant would know unequivocally that IT IS his JOB to help care for the needs of his brothers.

Some of these men are absolute black hearts. Wait on Jehovah, yes? That's what I say every time they ask for money.

I think it's nice to have someone you can express a concern to without getting some ascenine speech. Venting is healthy.

It's a shame so many fear men more than God and say nothing about their concerns. Good thing the Gentile Christians opened their mouths or all males would be getting snipped to this day.

All posts made with your account have come from the same IP address and you did not register recently, you recovered your password so I think it *is* your account. Maybe you forgot you created it.

Was the "so far no response" meant to suggest you were ignored instead of the reality that you'd only recently sent the message to me and hadn't really given me a reasonable chance to respond?

I must warn you, I have a very low tolerance for people playing silly games and wasting my time.

I was the "Program Overseer" back in 2010 for our area, would love to read some of your experiences and how you are coping losing many of your responsibilities.

Just to add, many of the pubs are more relaxed around me now and have no problem expressing themselves in blunt terms. They cuss a lot, as do I. I tell them I do not have an ax to grind and I want to hear their true feelings, without buffers!
