I have a slight Texas Accent but it's not a bigtime drawl. I wonder if our neighbors across the pond find the Southern accent appealing?

I dislike overly slow Southern (USA) accents. I like them until I fall asleep talking to them on the phone. (Not meant as a slam to anyone here btw)
Aztec, I have a slow Southern bell accent. I have other dear friends here with slow southern accents.

I've spoken to some members here by phone and I've really enjoyed the accents I've heard.
My favorite right now is Eyegirl's, who to me sounds very Canadian even though she's not. Upper Midwest is close enough I guess.
I spoke to Cassi a while back, and I enjoyed her accent. She used to live in Pennsylvania, where I am, and she said my accent (I never knew I had one) reminded her of her days in PA.

Hmm. Well of course, there isn't anything more appealing than a lady speaking with a Southern-ish American accent.
Sort of like liquid honey, it makes me go all gooey.
