not millions, (but ~ 600) that will never die, quote from a recent circuit assembly: assigned bethel speaker, referencing "writing committee outline" "-- people in the auditorium now will see the end of the generation and the beginning of Rev. 21:4 fulfillment, or words to that effect.
Millions now living will never die (orginally "may" never die) was the WTS lying

You can ask if this is gods mouthpiece that said this ,then God wasn't kind to that prophet by making him one of the millions now not living. JW marketing was pretty good in old times based on their ability to recruit people as free labour book sellers.

"Millions now living may/will never die"
Pricks up ears, thinks: "What; never die?" I would like to know about this...Goes to meeting and finds hundreds of other punters duped into thinking the same way...
It says it in the "Sacred revealed word of God; the Holy Bible written by the author who never lies!" The speaker said so, so hell! it must be true...
...............Or is it just the spiel of the snake oil salesman?
Surely this is the whole JW story; the lure of everlasting life in paradise, join the culture of blind obedience followed up by crippling social penalties if you dare to change your mind.
It was just the scam message from a Bible-cult folks................ heartily congratulate yourself if you have woken up and escaped!

Down to today, every human on earth has died, even Jesus. No one has escaped it yet.
The one that got away..
Hebrews 11:5
'By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: "He could not be found, because God had taken him away." For before he was taken...'

JW are doctrinally correct about Bible teachings about the Millennium, etc. The reference WT publications on this thread show that JW have been off by time not doctrine.
Great post and links! Substantial.

Fisherman: "--JW have been off by time not doctrine.
wrong in both. Jesus , in wt bibles, said the generation will not pass away until all these things occur. implying that then, after the end, it will pass away. wt , contradicting Jesus said, in 1918: it may/will never pass away. Now wt says it will even pass away before all these things occur.
The generation is either a) eternal or b) not, if it is not, it has to pass away either c) before or d) after the end, which is it, wt?Jesus said it will pass away, wt, you said: "never" ( wrong in doctrine )
Jesus said not until, after, wt, you now say "before" ( wrong in doctrine, because the generation then can not be exclusively the anointed groups.

I think they teach to gain salvation you need to be preaching their message and be convinced of it.
I would find it difficult to believe God require this as it doesn't appear to have been true in the past.

The WTS has always been marketeers of the returning savior Messiah who was going to save mankind from death, destroy the wicked in the world and return the earth to a paradise state. ie 1874 , 1914, 1925, 1975 etc.
In spite of being in contradiction to Scripture of no one knowing of this particular time or for one to calculate a specific time on their own and teaching it as if it were bible truths.
The overwhelming majority of Christian based faiths have not done so accept a few Charlatans selling their published literature to the public. $$$

"May"... "will"...
...either way, they're both wrong.

Fisherman - "...JWs have been off by time, not doctrine..."
Academic, really...
...since neither really line up with verifiable facts. :smirk:
