That's quite an immoral thing your father is purposing, sounds like he's putting the pressure on you just so he can maintain a good standing in the congregation.
Nothing puts more shame and guilt onto a parent when one of their own children decides to break away from this religion.
Been there done that.
Tell your father that you want to decide on your own accord and decision, not by outside pressure including his.
