High Court Family Division - 18 November 2016
An NHS Foundation Hospital v Mr and Mrs T
I think this is one of those cases where the parents are willingly letting this go to court and willingly allow the court to make the choice for them so that they cant be dragged to a JC by the elders. My heart goes out to them and especially to the little boy.
Fuck those elders. And fuck the governing body.

Noted. It wont happen again.
I get really annoyed when a little child is involved.
Context is king when it comes to posting rules - while we prefer people use moderate language, sometimes some expletives are appropriate. It's more when people use crudeness for the sake of it that we take a hard line on things.
Appreciate both the reminder and the cooperation.

That's cool - tbh it was more the double f-word use.
But also, I suppose, it was a strange rant/useage, as this is an example of the 'elders' and 'governing body' very much taking a back seat and letting the court/hospital take the lead, without any drama or f'ing and blinding.
Which is probably the best compromise and the reason why I wanted to flag this up with OrphanCrow.
The parent's made written representations regarding their wishes and did not attend the court, the hospital was happy to follow those wishes, with the priviso that they could adminster a blood transfusion, if needed. The judge agreed. End of case. I thought the brief write-up and comments of the Judge were interesting, which is again why I flagged it up for OrphanCrow.
They are understandably unable to consent to what is being proposed but they do not oppose it and leave the decision to the Court.
What? That's bizzare.
If doing what is right by God's standards was really in T's best interests then not only would they be unable to consent but they would also oppose it.
It's great T will get what he needs - but the above highlights the wackiness of JW logic.
We do not consent!
But we shall not oppose either...
This is what God wants us to do. Oh yes.
This is I believe not just the parents using the courts to dodge a bullet for their child. I believe it is WT policy not to make waves but to allow the legal process to take it out of their hands. That way they can shake their heads and tut about the wicked system in Satan's hands.
The JW hierarchy are hypocritical, pharisaiical toads.
Good luck to the poor kid bye the way.
The Watchtower's HLC representatives helped craft a document for Toronto children's hospital that allows children to be transfused without the need for a court order.

Gee, that is just too bad concerning use of profanity.
But in the case of elders and GoBo members I would call it well warranted.
Enablers and promoters of the blood transfusion policy that has resulted in so many needless deaths deserve to be called those insults and more, in my opinion,
