No way!! There is absolutley nothing to say. I want that religion as far behind me as possible. Now ask me if I would want my parents and little brother to visit me and you'll get a different answer. Unfortunatley I can't see that happening anytime soon.

NO. Their time to 'reach out and touch' has past.

and now my eyes have been opened.

If they could find me, sure! Wouldn't mind at all. I would probably talk about fishing, hunting, the family and when religion came up. I would discuss the connection between Greek myth and Jesus and how religion evolved from one religion to another, in a common habit ancient humans used called, "trading and bartering." I will give you this belief, for this belief, so that we can live in peace. Yes, it happened!

After the way I was treated by them....no way! But if they showed up anyway, I would try to act innocent and ask "questions" about how they would handle the situation I was in. I would also ask why somep people can talk to their dfd relative and not get in trouble at all and why my parents will not allow me to even enter their home or be at a family (worldly) function?

....and in the end, tell them that now that I have seen what unconditional love is, get out of my house.

Not sure if this still happens but I know that some years ago in my cong. the elders visited those disfellowshipped/dissasociated when the Circuit Overseer was in town.

I haven't had any contact me yet, but bring them on I say. As some previous pepole said it'd give me a chance to let them know how well I'm doing and how happy I am.

When I was DF's in the city, no one visited me, but since I moved upstate near the Farms I have had several visits from guys I served with in Bethel and local elders. Im polite but I remind them about how I was shafted in Bethel and how my Father kicked me out of the house since I did not want to pioneer and they change the subjct, talk about forgiving and shyt and then reading me a scripture scaring me into making a decision soon cause the flood is coming again! Anyway after that they cut out and go and hopefully wont come back for another year and I'll tell them the same story.

I mean these guys are proffessional trained to listen to peoples problems and quirks, right?
