So Orphan Crow. I showed you that Watchtower does acknowledge that Child Abuse can include that of child pornography and in fact more than child pornography but sexting with a minor. Does that mean that your argument falls flat in the water and doesn't leave the gate.

breakfast - "Oh good. Our two in-house lawyers have arrived to clear things up for us."
What would we do without them???
I've started thinking of 'em as "The Gruesome Obtuse-ome".

Yeah pointing out facts that is such a lawyer thing to do. And that is how you obfuscate things by bringing out facts. Or by bringing out what the law actually says and not what it should say when speaking about a legal matter.

Richard Oliver But you also feel that for instance a young couple should not be df'ed for having premarital sex, that would ruin their life
Why should a young couple having premarital sex ruin their life?

Richard Oliver
According to the laws in the US if a young couple who are both under the age of 18 send naked pictures of each other, by the law they have distributed child pornography and is subject to arrest, prosecution, fines/imprisonment and registration as a sex offender. I was pointing out that the law has grey areas that must be taken into consideration. It is not a simple matter but is much more complex.

So did anyone who kept on saying that Watchtower new policy just says that it is not a crime. Did anyone actually read the full policy, which includes the letter to the body of elders, the guidelines for service desks and the safeguarding policy for Jehovah's Witnesses in Australia. Or was it just that you read that one part and ended your search there.

Lets cut to the chase here - sexting with a minor is child abuse to them because it involves someone who is a witness
Child pornography is not child abuse to the Watchtower because the victim is likely a worldly child, AKA birdfood.
And no her argument does not fall flat in the water just because Watchtower views a Seperate issue, sexting a minor, as abuse. We are talking about child porn and that those clunkheads cannot empathise with the *hell* some worldly child has gone through *and* that it is illegal.
Jeese.

Where in that paragraph does it differentiate between a witness child and a worldly child. In fact further in that document it states it doesn't matter if the abuser is a witness or not and if the victim or the abuser is part of the congregation. So are you adding to those statements that isn't there.

Richard Oliver
Diognester. The paragraph does include the act of sexting but it also says child pornography and those that view it.

Right. That would be what the WT means when they say this:
"viewing child pornography is not considered to be child abuse"
You are putting lipstick on a pig, Richard...either that or building straw men, I am not sure which.
