As a never been a JW , Anglican , Trinity believing wrong ' un l would say no He won't. However that probably doesn't help does it ?

I agree with what's been said about research, but - please read a variety of stuff , for and against Christianity . You won't get a balanced view just reading one side of the argument a la Watchtower mode .

I suppose that the nearest l can get to wrapping my head around how the teaching lingers is thinking about a child who's Mom always said " it's bad luck to step on the cracks in the pavement " . You grow up and KNOW that it can't be right but still feel uncomfortable when you do it .

Keep searching until you find where you feel at home .

If there really was a Jesus and he is in heaven speaking as our mediator I would say "no." If acting and believing in an exact way were important there would be no room for error or interpretation in the Gospels. Most Christian doctrine comes from mean, especially Paul, in the New Testament.

If God is love, the short answer is PIMOs are fine if they follow Jesus words.

IWant2Leave, since you believe in Christ, why not pray to him (and/or the Father) about the matter, telling him(them) your thoughts and feelings on the matter and asking for his(their) guidance on the matter? Then pay attention to see (or hear) what guidance/answer you receive from him(them), if any. According to one of the gospels, Jesus said that 'anything you ask the father in my name I will give it'. [I also think that one verse, in at least one manuscript says "me" instead of Father".] One of the letters attributed to John says that God will give us us anything we ask him if is in harmony with his will. Certainly you requesting such would be in harmony with his will, presuming the god exists. Right?

Since you believe in the Bible, it might be helpful to consider the story in the book of Daniel (see chapter 6) about the time when the king of Medo-Persia passed a law saying that no one was to pray to anyone for 30 days except to the king. According to the story Daniel chose to openly/visibly pray to Jehovah, knowing what the punishment under the law would be.

It is good that you are concerned about what Christ's reaction might be to your decisions.

You cannot serve God on the fence. You have to be the truth to honor the Truth. You give up everything when you become a child of God. If you love your family more than the Truth you are not worthy of Him. If you give up your family and friends for the kingdom you will retain your integrity, dignity and witness to the world. God is looking for men, for warriors.

All early Christians called on the Lord Jesus Christ I Cor.1:2 I suggest you ask Christ personally to lead you to make the right decision at any cost. I would encourage you to have fellowship with Christians who are not Witnesses and who will support you if and when you you leave the organization.

If any human did any of the things the Bible says God was responsible for ,he/she would be labelled a monster , and either receive the death penalty or spend the rest of his / her life in prison.

And as I have said before, many a JW may leave the religion but the religion never leaves them.

And they remain captives unless they do the required amount of research needed to completely debunk the religion.

To answer the question ,if God / Christ of the Bible don`t exist then no ,and if by some miracle they do then I rest my case.

If Christ is real then he and the holy spirit (if he or it is real) need to do a much better job communicating with sincere prayerful Christians, telling them very clearly what Christ's teachings are. Christianity is so very divided doctrinally, with a wide diversity of conflicting doctrines between its various churches, denominations, sects, and cults. If Christ exists, then it doesn't make sense that there are so many different churches, denominations, sects, and cults of of non-orthodox Christianity.

Besides the numerous Protestant churches and the Roman Catholic Church, even orthodox Christianity is divided into Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, and Ethiopian Orthodox - with each of those four churches having a different canon of scripture books and with each of those canons differing from that of the Roman Catholic Church and the Protestant Churches. Likewise the canon of the Jewish religion is different from all of the Christian canons (and the canon of the Samaritan religion differs from that of the Jewish religion).
