It sure hurts to loose a pet. I lost my cat a few months back and it hurt so bad I couldn't bring myself to go to work that night. I think I would feel the same if any of my 8 gold fish died.

BTW, I replaced the cat about 3 weeks later and it was the best decision I made all year.

I'm so sorry, my heart is breaking for you and your sister. CC and I have 4 legged babies and we know what a precious part of the family they become. I'm so glad that your sister was able to save Kate *I'd like to kick that woman that kicked her* That made me so mad!!!!!

Tell your sister that she took good care of Kate the last two years of her life and she took care of her when she had to put her down. I've had to put a dog down myself. It's a very difficult thing to do, but sometimes it's the most loving thing that you can do. Sending you hugs......I know she will be missed.

Scooby, I'm so sorry you lost Kate. She sounds like a game little thing, and I'm so glad that you and your family made the last part of her life better than the first. People who are mean to children and animals have no place on this planet, in my opinion.

I grieved more over losing my dog of ten years than I did my own father when he died. I loved my dad very much, but I grieved for my dog more. Maybe I believed my dad would live again, and my dog would not.....I don't know. I do know an animal can become closer to you.... than a human. Sorry for your grief.

Oh scooby, How sad this is....It is funny how a animal can be part of a family so qiuckly.....They seem to bring out the personality in our families.....Our pets always fit our feelings....they love us unconditionally.....Your doggie is in dog heaven now.....she will remember those roasts,and she will never forget what you have done for her....thinking of you and your sister at this time......sorry scoob......
