You probably won't get in. Security is tight, they will inspect your badge. If it says Macdonalds 3 gold stars it probably won't work.

You're right. Security is stepped up (which is good actually). Although it's real security, not yellow jacket boy that is "reaching out". They've got plastic boxes with what looks like those electronic body search things you see in the airport.
I have to chuckle to myself though:
One of the "cool" cliques is right in front of me. He's in a suit, sunglassses and converse trainers. The girls have short skirts. I give them 2 years before they leave the cult.

Costa Coffee round the corner rammed with JWs in their badges, non JWs wondering whats going on. Im hearing Manchester accents, which is strange because the Manchester one is being held here in a few weeks.

Conventions give off a little bit more of a liberal feeling than the smaller assemblies. You tend to find that people are just milling about among the hordes aimlessly. The younger ones are too busy looking for a potential marriage mate, whilst the older ones look a little more aged and lost.
Its interesting the beard rebellion is down south too :-)

I haven't been to a convention since waking up. It must be a whole different experience fully awake and ready to play ball with all your mental faculties.
