Did anyone else see the Witness who was interviewed on the Today show as a friend of the Jackson family in support of Michael? In light of all the child abuse mess within the organization you would think that they would stay away from that one.

Not only with the child abuse mess, MJ is disfellowshipped. Shouldn't this be his punishment for straying away from the troof?
I didn't see it but can't imagine anyone in good standing would go on TV about this. Could it have been an friend from when he was young and the family were witnesses?
Oh no, this is a current friend of the eldest daughter, the mother and one of the brothers. He said the allegations will prove to be false, the family is all rallying around (including LaToya) and that he is in direct contact with them and speaking on their behalf.
That JW probably has no idea that there is a problem with Gods organization and child abuse!

This is turning out to be very interesting. This whole thing is not only going to blow up in MJ's face, but the Watchtower's as well. Imagine, a child molester in the JW organization! If MJ is proven guilty, it might help put light to all the issues involving the JW policy. MJ is pretty damn popular, and his actions aren't going to give a good impression of the WTS.
NO Gretchen, I didn't see that! Wish I had!!! What was this Jehovah Witness doing on national t.v. *admitting* of being a friend of the *worldly* Michael Jackson!!!! Wont he get into deep trouble for doing this?????!!!!!! Couldn't he be disfellowshiped for being MJ friend?????!!!!! I know if my j.w. family started defending me and claimed to be MY friend, they would be in BIG trouble! To me, this makes the org. look very bad! I'm sure MJ's mother is still a big supporter of the borg. I guess money talks! This whole thing is sickning.
I doubt this witness person has any contact with Michael these days. Few people do.
The oldest sister of Michael, Rebbie has been an active witness for years. Likely this person knows Rebbie, and maybe the mother.
Wonder if there's a transcript of that interview? Was it today or yesterday?
I find it highly unlikely that a JW in good standing would go on national tv and speak up on behalf of a disfellowshipped person.
